Deputies: Man arrested after ramming his car into another vehicle several times in road rage incident
PHELPS, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Penn Yan man is facing charges after ramming his car into another vehicle several times, forcing it off the road.
William S. Lockwood, 60, was arrested Friday night and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, and reckless driving.
The charges resulted from a road rage incident that began on the New York State Thruway and ended on State Route 14 in the Town of Phelps.
Deputies say Lockwood intentionally damaged a victim’s vehicle several times, forcing it to drive off the road.
Lockwood was taken to Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
