Deputies: Portion of Rush Mendon Road reopens after house fire

MENDON, N.Y. (WHEC) — A portion of Rush Mendon Road was shut down due to a house fire for several hours Wednesday afternoon but has since reopened.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says multiple departments are on the scene at the home along the road in the Town of Mendon. The road was closed between Sheldon Road and Rush Mendon Town Line Road.
The flames were knocked down.
