Deputies: Woman charged for taking money out of someone else’s bank account

WEST SPARTA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Cattaraugus County woman is facing felony fraud charges after the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says she took money out of someone else’s bank account.
The alleged crimes happened back in August in the town of West Sparta.
Deputies say Samantha M. Cossairt, 29, of Olean, signed withdrawal slips at the bank using the victim’s name to take out cash three separate times.
She was arrested on Dec. 21 and charged with three counts each of felony second degree forgery, felony second degree identity theft and petit larceny.
She was released with an appearance ticket.
