WEBSTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Even with Sunday’s loss, some Buffalo Bills fans were still out at their favorite sports bars to cheer on the team.
The Bills losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 23 – 16 was not what Bills Mafia anticipated, but they cheered on the team every chance they got.
We asked the crowd how they felt about being back to normal, at their favorite watering hole, watching football and the immediate reaction was, “finally".
"I’ve come here every Sunday for the past 10 years, so it’s amazing to be back with all these people. You get the energy; it’s just a lot of fun,” Steve Mikula said.
Other fans said they were upset about the outcome of the game but picked up a beer and cheered to winning the next one.
“’Go Bills!’ I will say I’m a little disappointed in the score at this point, but we’re on top still so we’ll take it”, Corey Westfall said.
Fans tell us they’ll be back at The Coach in Webster for the next game.
We also had the chance to talk to the bar owner about how business has been going especially with no COVID-19 capacity restrictions.
