DiBella’s Subs to raise funds to help feed Ukrainians

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester-based restaurant company, DiBella’s Subs, will begin a fundraising campaign in all its 43 restaurants on Wednesday to raise money for Ukrainian families fleeing the county, as well as those who are staying in Ukraine.

In a statement issued by the company, all 43 locations in five states will raise money for the World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises while working to build resilient food systems with locally-led solutions.

DiBella’s says it will be helping the World Central Kitchen in two ways:

  1. When ordering in a restaurant, guests can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar.
  2. When ordering online at DiBellas.com, guests can add a $1, $3, $5 or $10 donation to their order.

The restaurant says all funds from these two initiatives will go towards feeding Ukrainians in need.
