DOT: Overnight lane and ramp closures at I-390/I-490 interchange in Gates overnight

GATES, N.Y. (WHEC) — Drivers should expect more overnight lane and ramp closures at the I-390/I-490 interchange in Gates Thursday night into Friday morning.
The closures have been going on for weeks as part of ongoing construction.
The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) says the southbound lanes of Route 390 will close between Lyell Avenue and I-490 at 10 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 6 a.m. Friday and drivers will be detoured using Lyell Avenue and Mount Read Boulevard to access I-390 south via I-490 west.
The work is weather-dependent and subject to change, according to the DOT.
