Early morning apartment fire on Rowley Street in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The call for the fire came around 2:30 on Thursday morning.

The early morning fire happened on Rowley Street off of Park Avenue, on the east side of Rochester. Firefighters say the basement was in flames.

Firefighters also say they were able to get a frantic scene under control and also cleared the property. There were no injuries from people at the apartment that were reported. However, one firefighter did go to the hospital with a minor injury.

RPD also responded to the fire. The cause of the fire is currently unkown.
