NIAGARA FALLS (WHEC) — This year’s Empire State Ride came to a finish in Niagara Falls on Saturday.
Our Buffalo affiliates were at the finish line.
More than 225 cyclists from states all over the country were a part of this year’s ride. Over the past week, they’ve been riding their bikes all the way across the state, starting in the Hudson River Valley.
Each rider raised at least $3,500 for cancer research, for a grand total of $1.6 million. All of those proceeds will be going to the Roswell Comprehensive Cancer Center for cancer research.
