ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A wonderful Saturday is ahead with abundant sunshine and cool and comfortable temperatures. Highs today will reach the upper 60s with some near 70.

Mostly sunny skies will continue through today as well making for a great day for any outdoor activities. Those cool, comfortable, and clear conditions continue through tonight and into Sunday until clouds begin to increase in the afternoon. A warm front to our west will approach locally late Sunday with cloud cover and a chance for a stray light shower.

We will also see the dew points begin to rise, but not until the warm front moves to our north on Monday. Monday will be the warmest day of the next 10 days as we will see a high temperature near 80. Dew points will reach near 60 degrees with a slight chance for a shower or storm late Monday.

Not much of a rain chance Monday afternoon, but a better chance for rain will move in late Monday night and into Tuesday. This will be the first of several chance for rain next week as an upper level low moves to our north towards the middle of the week. This upper level low to our north behind the passage of the cold front Tuesday will keep us on the cool and unsettled side through a good chunk of this week. Rain chances will be in the forecast through next weekend, and temperatures will likely be below average with highs generally around 70 degrees.

So, enjoy the overall dry weather this weekend before the umbrellas and rain coats become a common outfit locally this week!
