Faith Church selling 44 acres of land to Town of Brighton

BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — Faith Church in Brighton Tuesday announced the sale of 44 acres of land to the Town of Brighton.
The parcel is located on Winton and Westfall roads. The church has owned it for decades
The town is buying it for $1.8 million.
Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle said he isn’t sure what the town will do with the land yet, but residents’ taxes will go up by just under $7 a year.
