Feeling stressed about back to school? NY org. launches new online tool to help

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — With kids and teachers getting back into classrooms across the state, a New York nonprofit organization launched a new tool to help them navigate and deal with the possible stress.

The Mental Health Association in New York State (MHANYS) created an online resource center that it says gives easier access to materials focused on identifying students struggling with anxiety and depression, and how to engage students about mental health, among other areas.

A series of lesson plans tailored to helping students are also downloadable.

Resources can be found by visiting MHANYS’s website.
