ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Boys and Girls Club and the Red Wings are coming through for families shattered by the mass shooting.
In Rochester just before Sunday’s game at Frontier Field, The Boys and Girls Club collected food donations outside. The "Fill up the Van for Buffalo" event gathered help for victims’ families.
"It’s important to show solidarity. It’s important to help others. There’s a lot going on in this world and we want to make sure that we are there stepping up to help our neighbors not only in our community but our neighboring communities as well which includes Buffalo," said Koralee Bernardo of the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.
