Fire damages vacant home on west side of Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Just before 3 a.m. Thursday, RFD got an initial call for people trapped in a house fire, but arrived, searched, and didn’t find anyone.

The house is located near the intersection of Lime and Whitney streets.

Officials told News10NBC that the homeowner had just bought the house and started making renovations.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.
