PALMYRA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A laundromat was destroyed in a Wednesday morning fire in Palmyra.

The fire broke out around 11 a.m. at the Palmyra Coin-Op on Williams Street. Companies from several area fire departments responded, but the building is a total loss.

The laundromat is next door to the Alling Coverlet Museum, which suffered minor damage to an adjacent wall and the second floor.

No one was injured. The cause is still under investigation.
