Fire investigation at Danforth Community Center

Rochester, N.Y. – Rochester firefighters responded to a fire alarm at the Danforth Community Center Sunday afternoon.

When they arrived there was smoke coming from the eaves of the building. Firefighters gained access to the building to find thick black smoke and a treadmill that was burning with damage to the gym floor. Firefighters searched and found no one inside.

The fire is under investigation.
