Firefighters: Vacant house fire on Almira Street ‘supsicious’

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)—Investigators are calling a Thursday night fire at a vacant home in Rochester "suspicious."

Crews went to a home on Almira Street near Upper Falls Boulevard around 11:45 p.m. News10NBC learned the home was vacant and boarded up. Nobody was hurt.

Rochester Fire Department’s Battalion Chief Ryan James says the property owner told him he saw someone throw something at the property moments before the fire.
