ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Tuesday saw at least a little rain for everybody, with some spots west and north of Rochester picking up a half inch of beneficial rain. Any storms and showers end tonight, and the sky will begin to clear. This will lead to a little bit of fog trying to develop once the wind eases.

Wednesday will feature fair weather with clouds and sun, mild air and lower humidity. Our next round of showers will arrive on Thursday morning, as a wave of low pressure passes by to our south. Despite some morning rain, we should see mainly dry weather into the afternoon. Friday is another nice day with dry weather and comfortable temperatures and humidity.

The weekend: we’re tracking an area of low pressure that will move into the Northeast and Mid Atlantic on Saturday, but trends have been pushing this wave south. If these trends continue, we may end up with a mainly dry Saturday. But at this early vantage point, plan on a little rain on Saturday, with a few showers possible late in the day Sunday.

Temperatures will largely hold in the lower half of the 70s into the middle of next week. There are some signs of more summer-like air that may try to nudge into western New York by the middle to end of next week.
