First Alert Weather: A weekend winner for weather!

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Mother nature has turned on the “air conditioning” for Western New York. All around Rochester the temperature and humidity have fallen to more reasonable levels compared to the steamy weather we had last week. The comfortable conditions are likely to continue for another 36 hours.

Expect mainly clear skies tonight with what can best be described as good sleeping weather as the temperature will fall into the mid-50s overnight. Sunday will feature more sunshine and lower humidity making for a beautiful end to the weekend. The high-temperature tomorrow will again reach the mid-70s.

The News10NBC First Alert meteorologists expect the dog days of summer to slowly make a return for the upcoming week. The temperature and humidity will be on the increase and conditions will become more uncomfortable for late Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

The temperature will climb back into the 80s with the chance of a passing thundershower each day. You can expect heat and humidity to last through the week and maybe into the start of next weekend.
