ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Thursday’s storms helped to wash away the heat and humidity of the last few days.

Another cold front dropping over Lake Ontario overnight will also drop our temperatures for the weekend. Highs on Saturday won’t make it out of the 60s in most locations, and we’ll flirt with 70 on Sunday. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 40s and lower 50s. So, we’ll be able to give our air conditioners a break and open the windows for some fresh air! Speaking of fresh air, winds will remain a bit busy on Saturday, with some gusts to 30 mph out of the northwest as that dry and cool air flows in.

Saturday starts with clouds overhead, but we’ll clear those out nicely by the afternoon. Sunday should feature nothing but sunshine. Monday remains comfortable, but a warm front will once again be knocking on our door by Tuesday. This will bring our next chance for rain and some storms, with much warmer air returning for the middle of next week.
