ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Breezy and dry weather is ahead for Monday with sun and clouds in the afternoon.

A beautiful day is on the way for Tuesday with decent weather Wednesday as well. The Threat Tracker is showing no issues on the way through midweek.

There may be an isolated shower on Wednesday so will keep an eye out for that. The pattern will change later in the week and will allow another significant warm-up to arrive with temperatures around 90 by Friday.

The heat will be short-lived as a cold front will arrive on Saturday with some showers and thunder. Behind that front, cooler and drier air will arrive for Sunday and Monday with a pretty good forecast for the 4th of July at this time.

Stay tuned to News10NBC for updates on the late week heat and the holiday forecast.
