First Alert Weather: Cooler and drier weather ahead with a gusty breeze

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The cold front that brought thundery downpours on Sunday night and early Monday morning continues to move off to the east.
Much drier air is moving on Monday and will set the stage for a cooler more refreshing day ahead. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s with sunshine and puffy fair weather clouds for Monday afternoon. It will be noticeably less humid as the dewpoint temperatures drop into the 50s in the afternoon.
One thing to note about the weather on Monday is the wind. Gusts will be over 20 mph will develop out of the west-northwest. Waves will build on Lake Ontario so it’s not a great day for boating or swimming.
