ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Thursday’s storms left a path of damage through parts of the Finger Lakes. There were several reports of trees down on houses, power lines, and building damage in Livingston and Ontario Counties.

There were also reports of golf ball-sized hail locally, with tennis-ball-sized hail just east of Wayne County!

Our Yellow Alert is done, and the weather is turning much quieter. We’ll see a return to a mostly sunny sky and dry weather on Friday, with more seasonable temperatures. A secondary cold front will drop our temperatures into the upper 60s for highs on Saturday, and lower 70s on Sunday. The weekend should be dry with plenty of sun for Father’s Day!

Our next chance for rain comes on Monday night or Tuesday with a warm front that should push our temperatures back into the 80s again.
