ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A refreshing Monday is ahead with a breeze off the lake and mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will be in the 70s with low humidity. Another breezy and dry day is in store for Tuesday.

A warm front arrives Wednesday with perhaps some showers or thunder early in the day then clearing skies and temps soaring well into the 80s with noticeably more humid conditions.

We need to watch for some active weather on Thursday with thunderstorms likely. Some strong storms and heavy rainfall is possible. Threat Tracker is green for now but will continue to watch for a possible Yellow Alert for Thursday. Behind that system, we will see a clearing on Friday.

For now, it seems like a great weather set-up heading into next weekend for the start of the Jazz Fest and also for Father’s Day on Sunday. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the storm threat later in the week.
