ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monday will feature another relatively cool and comfortable day with temperatures in the 70s and mixed sun and clouds.

A warm front will approach Monday tonight into Tuesday with a couple of showers. Behind that front, temperatures will soar on Tuesday into the mid and upper 80s with a big jump in the humidity as well.

Hazy, hot, and humid weather is in store for Wednesday with temperatures near 90 and the feel-like heat index into the mid-90s. There will be a few opportunities for showers and thunderstorms as well.

Very difficult to place and time the storms as the weather pattern is very slow-moving. Our Threat Tracker is at green but will need to monitor Wednesday for any storm development.

At this time it does not appear to be a big severe set-up but we may catch some heavy downpours midweek. That will help to cool us down a bit for later in the week.

Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the midweek thunder threat.
