First Alert Weather: Warm end to the week with overall pleasant weather ahead this weekend
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Temps will warm into the 80s today with sunshine this morning mixing with puffy clouds this afternoon.
A few of those clouds may produce a shower this afternoon but for most of us, it will remain a rain-free day. The humidity will head noticeably higher this afternoon with a summery feel out there today. Nice weather ahead for your Friday night.
Looking ahead to the weekend a weak cold front will arrive on Saturday with a shower threat during the day. Muggy weather is expected in the morning but less humid conditions will move in behind the front for Saturday night into Sunday. Sunday is shaping up to be a fantastic day with a good amount of sunshine and very comfortable weather with temps in the 70s. Warmer and more humid weather will surge back into the region early next week. Fall officially arrives Wednesday afternoon at 3:21 PM with a cold front and some possible thunderstorms. Behind that front, the weather looks to turn much cooler later next week with some nice early fall weather in the forecast.
