ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A cold front came through Western New York earlier today and that produced a refreshing breeze with lower amounts of humidity. The comfortable weather will continue tonight, but that will change through the middle of the week. A warm front is expected to approach the area tomorrow and that will bring another surge of heat and humidity.

Tonight look for clearing skies and the temperature will fall to within a few degrees of 60. Wednesday we will find lots of sunshine for the morning and turning hazy by the afternoon. You can expect the heat to build for the remainder of the day with high temperature near 90 degrees. Wednesday night should be rain free for most of the night, but there will be the chance of a thundershower after midnight. It will be a muggy night with the low near 72 degrees. Thursday will bring partial sunshine with a shower or a thunderstorm possible. It will feel even more tropical with higher amounts of humidity and the high temperature near 90 degrees.

Another cold front will pass over the area on Friday and this should knock-down the heat and humidity again. The high temperature is expected to be in the lower 80s with just the chance of a shower. The weekend looks to be hot with just an isolated thundershower for both days.
