First Alert Weather: Weekend forecast

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Fantastic day and night ahead to end the week for us this Friday with sunshine and temps near 80 degrees.

Saturday starts dry and nice with increasing clouds into the afternoon with mainly dry weather. Just a slight shower or thunder threat late in the afternoon. Better chance for showers and storms Saturday evening and night. Be prepared for some downpours later in the day and at night on Saturday.

Some good news looking ahead to Sunday as morning storms will clear out for an improving forecast into the afternoon hours. It will be very warm and noticeably more muggy on Sunday, with mainly rain-free weather now in the forecast as late-day storms look to miss our region east and south.
