ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — St. John Fisher College students, alumni, faculty and staff raised a record-breaking $127,043 during their dancing fundraiser Saturday evening.

The 2022 Teddi Dance for Love is a dance-a-thon to raise money for Camp Good Days and Special Times. This year will be the 40th year on Fisher’s campus. The committee hopes to raise an all-time high $125,000 for the Camp; proceeds from the fundraiser support the Teddi Project, which sends a group of children on a week-long trip to amusement parks in Florida.

It is also a celebration of Teddi. She was the daughter of Camp Good Days founder Gary Mervis. Teddi died at age 12 of brain cancer.

The dance ends at 8 p.m. Saturday night.
