Foodlink gets big donation ahead of Hunger Action Month

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Foodlink is starting Hunger Action Month with an infusion of cash.
Wednesday Rep. Joe Morelle announced $750,000 for the organization to upgrade infrastructure and bolster services.
Morelle said the money will support a much-needed refrigerator expansion to store more produce for the community.
Because of the pandemic, the organization has distributed 25% more food this past year than the year prior.
