Foodlink to announce expanded access to fresh fruits and vegetables

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — For the first time in the program’s history, funding for the Double Up Food Bucks program was included in the state budget.
Foodlink and the "Field and Fork Network" Thursday announced the expanded access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
The $2 million will go toward matching SNAP eligible purchases dollar for dollar up to $20 a day.
This refueled program will benefit low-income families, New York farms, and local businesses.
