ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County is celebrating the Fourth of July with fireworks, parades, live music, 5K and 10K races, along with other events. We have your guide to what towns, villages, and the city of Rochester is planning.

The Court Street and Broad Street bridges will be closed overnight Monday starting at 8 p.m. because of fireworks.

MONDAY, JULY 4, 2022

ROCHESTER

Over Broad Street Bridge and Court Street Bridge: Fireworks at 10 p.m. The Court Street and Broad Street bridges will be closed overnight Monday starting at 8 p.m.

Rapids Cemetery at 60 Congress Ave: Outdoor Choral Music at 7 p.m.

GREECE

1 Vince Tofany Blvd: Old Fashioned 4th of July 5K Freedom Run at 7 a.m. Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration to follow the 5K. Fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

BRIGHTON

Meridian Centre Park: 5K race at 8 a.m. July 4th celebration to follow.

FAIRPORT / PERINTON

O’Connor Road, Fairport: Fleet Feet Firecracker 4 Mile Run at 8 a.m.

Perinton Park: Fairport/Perinton 4th of July Parade at 10 a.m. Party in the Park performance by The Skycoasters at noon.

IRONDEQUOIT

Irondequoit Town Hall: 2 Mile Fun Run at 8 a.m. 10K Race at 8:30 a.m. 4th of July Parade at 11 a.m. Food trucks and food vendors 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Children’s activities 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Various bands in the Entertainment Garden 1-4 p.m. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

CANANDAIGUA

Ontario Street to the Waterfront of Canandaigua Lake: Canandaigua Fourth of July Celebration at 10 a.m.

Lincoln Hill Farms: Live music, food, and games at 1 p.m. Fireworks after dark

MUMFORD

1410 Flint Hill Road: Genesee Country Village & Museum is holding a 19th-century-style Independence Day parade and a naturalization ceremony at 10 a.m. The day-long celebration also includes a pie-eating contest, a reading of the declaration of independence, and games.

LYNDONVILLE

Main Street Lyndonville: Lions Club Parade at 12 p.m. A C-17 airplane will fly over the town just before the parade to honor veterans. The parade will honor two local medal of honor recipients. Fireworks are at 10 p.m

HORNELL

Veterans Memorial Park: Independence Day Parade and Celebration at 1 p.m. Fireworks at 10 p.m.

HENRIETTA

Veterans Memorial Park: 4th of July Celebration at 4 p.m. Fireworks at 9:45 p.m.
