Gas prices rise again this week, though not by as much as past weeks
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Gas prices continue to rise, but at a slower pace than in recent weeks.
According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), the average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Rochester is $3.52 — up two cents from last week.
According to GasBuddy‘s daily survey of 319 stations in Rochester, gas prices are 24.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and $1.29/g higher than a year ago.
The drop in demand for gasoline has helped slow price increases, but AAA said elevated crude prices continue to put pressure on pump prices.
