Gates man stabbed and carjacked in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police say a Gates man was stabbed Friday night in Rochester.

Officers were called to the area of Glenwood Avenue and Lake Avenue just before 10 p.m. Friday.

Police said a 44-year-old man was attacked by an unknown number of suspects and was stabbed in the upper body.

Police said the suspects then fled with the victim’s keys and stole his car.

The victim was taken to strong hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
