Genesee Country Village & Museum to open this weekend

MUMFORD, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Genesee Country Village & Museum is getting ready to open for the season, just in time for Mother’s Day Weekend.
It’s the largest and most comprehensive living history museum in New York State, and the third-largest in the country and it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown Rochester, in Mumford.
The museum has interactive programs, exhibits, and other special events like antique shows, summer concerts and holiday celebrations on tap. Nearby residents can also get free admission on the weekend of Sept. 3 and Sept. 4.
