Genesee County man facing charges for allegedly having a pipe bomb

BYRON, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Genesee County man has been charged for allegedly having a pipe bomb.
The sheriff’s office says 49-year-old Donald R. Read from Byron is facing three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Two of those charges are from a previous conviction: Having a knife with metal knuckles on the handle and a separate set of metal knuckles.
He’s set to be arraigned on Monday.
