Geneva man charged in Phelps stabbing
PHELPS, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Geneva man is facing charges after the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said he showed up at a Phelps man’s home, uninvited, and stabbed him multiple times.
The incident happened back on March 25.
Deputies say the victim was taken to Clifton Springs Hospital by a private vehicle, but ended up being transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital. He has since been released.
On Tuesday, deputies say they arrested 35-year-old Lester Rivera for the crime, and he was arraigned and remanded to the Ontario County Jail on no bail due to the fact that he has two prior felony convictions.
