Gillett Road Bridge to be closed to traffic

OGDEN, N.Y. (WHEC) — Drivers looking to take Gillett Road over the Erie Canal will have to find another route starting November 15 and until at least the end of the week.
The New York State Department of Transportation says it is working on repairing the bridge starting this upcoming Monday at 7:30 a.m. The construction is expected to last about one week.
Nearby roads South Union Street and Manitou Road are the next closest for people looking to drive over the Erie Canal in Ogden.
