Good Question: What’s that expiration date on my vaccine card?

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — If you’ve gotten the COVID vaccine, or when you do, take a good look at the card they give you.
People have been asking us about a date printed on it, and we’re not talking about the times detailing when you got your first or second dose, but the "expiration" date listed.
We received a picture of a card from a viewer, and on the card, it says the expiration date is June 30.
All vaccines do have expiration dates, so what you see on your card is when these doses need to be used by, not how long you’re protected from the virus.
