Governor Hochul announces plans to upgrade Delta terminal at JFK

QUEENS, N.Y. – Terminal 4 will see $1.5 billion in financed expansion and modernization.

The expansion part of the project will add 10 gates and make for bigger check-in and arrival areas. Modern additions will include new retail and food options, better technology, upgraded ticketing and gate areas, and a new self-service bag check option.

"The economic impact of this transformation will be felt for decades, while solidifying our state’s global leading role in welcoming visitors from abroad and those returning home," said Hochul.

This comes after Hochul made an appearance at JFK on Monday announcing plans to build a new terminal. This announcement is the second project to break ground within the overall JFK transformation.
