Grand jury indicts woman accused of killing 3-month-old daughter

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Monroe County grand jury has indicted a mother accused of killing her three-month-old daughter.
Mabel Rosado-Delgado, 38, is charged with second-degree murder after police say her baby died from severe blunt-force injuries, inflicted by her.
Officers say Rosado-Delgado showed up at Rochester General Hospital with the baby last month with severe injuries. Hospital staff attempted life-saving measures, and the baby was pronounced dead about 30 minutes after she was brought in.
She is accused of inflicting the injuries that caused her daughter’s death at an Eastman Avenue home.
The criminal complaint states witnesses told police that she was responsible for the baby’s death.
