HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Henrietta man was indicted Monday after allegedly injuring two deputies who were trying to take him into custody back in January.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies were responding to a domestic incident at a Henrietta home just before 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 20.
Deputies say Alexander Morrice, 25, had already left the scene when deputies initially arrived, but then he came back with his truck.
When deputies tried to arrest him, they say he took off with one deputy attached to the truck, went through the yard of a Faircrest Road home and then crashed into a ditch, throwing the deputy off the truck.
Another deputy fell through the ice in the ditch while they were attempting to get Morrice out of the truck.
All three men had to be treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Morrice is facing 10 charges including assault and DWI.
