ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – For many, it’s not the 4th of July without a backyard barbecue with family and friends. But, this year’s beef, buns, and beer will cost far more than last year.
According to a study done by Wells Fargo Agribusiness Advisors, consumers will pay 6% more for hot dogs than last July 4th. They’ll pay 7% more for produce, and 8% more for shrimp.
The buns are 10% more, and the ground beef for those burgers, is almost 12% more.
