Hilton Central School District officials told News10NBC’s Stephanie Duprey test kits will be available through Wednesday for families of enrolled students at the security desks of all five school buildings during regular hours.
Families can get one set of tests for each student. Families with students who attend more than one school in the district can pick up all the tests they need at one school, there is no need to go to each one separately.
Superintendent Dr. Casey Kosiorek said he wants to be sure students can return to class and begin the new year COVID-free.
“We want to make sure folks have the ability to test before going to functions for the holidays we’re really looking to mitigate the spread,” Kosiorek said.
District officials say they have 4,500 tests to hand out.
