HOPR bike share comes to Brighton

BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — A ribbon cutting will happen on Thursday to celebrate the opening of multiple HOPR bike share stations.
The Town of Brighton will kick off the spring biking season with a ribbon-cutting for the opening of the Town Hall HOPR bike share station on Thursday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at the town hall, which is located at 2300 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY, 14618.

HOPR, a bike-sharing service, is partnering with RTS to place a network of bike-share stations in Rochester and several Monroe County towns, including Brighton. This new station is in close proximity to an RTS bus stop, Brighton’s Bicycle Boulevard, and the Brickyard Trail— giving Brighton residents more opportunities to get on a bike and leave their cars at home.
