Josh Allen will not play in Bills second preseason game against Bears
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WHEC) — Buffalo Bills star quarterback, Josh Allen will not take the field on Saturday in the team’s second preseason game against the Chicago Bears.
Head coach Sean Mcdermott made the announcement on Thursday that Allen and a number of starters won’t play.

Allen also sat out the Bills preseason opener against the Lions.
McDermott says Mitch Trubisky will be the starting quarterback against the Bears.

McDermott said many of the core starters will not see minutes, including wide receiver Stephon Diggs, who the Bills hope to work into more of an active role in practice by next week.
The Bills just signed Allen to a six-year extension worth $258 million.
The game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.
