Jury selection in trial for former RHA head George Moses begins
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Jury selection is underway in the trial for the former Chairman of the Rochester Housing Authority George Moses.
Moses is facing 25 counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, federal program fraud, aggravated identity theft, and filing false tax returns. Federal prosecutors say he used public funds as a personal piggy bank, spending the money on cruises, spa treatment, tickets to sporting events, multi-level marketing schemes, and more.
A judge still needs to rule on his request for fully vaccinated jurors. Jury selection was set to begin at 9 a.m.
