Kodak Center lifts its mask requirement, some shows may have their own
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Kodak Center is lifting its mask requirement.
The entertainment venue said the decision comes after New York Gov. Kathy Hochul lifted her statewide mask or proof of vaccination mandate for indoor public places and a reduction in positive COVID-19 test results among its workforce and the Greater Rochester area.
Guests are still free to wear a mask if they wish.
While the venue itself is no longer requiring masks, there are still some individual shows and artists who have their own COVID-19 requirements for their tours.
Those Kodak Center shows include:
- Hasan Minhaj on March 3 at 7:30 p.m., who requires all guests, regardless of vaccination status, to wear face coverings at all times they are not actively eating or drinking.
- Buddy Guy on April 8, at 8 p.m., who requires all guests 12 and older to show proof of vaccination and photo ID.
- "Weird Al" Yankovic on May 11 at 7:30 p.m., who requires all guests 12 and older to show proof of vaccination and photo ID.
- Tori Amos on May 18 at 8 p.m., who requires all guests 12 and older to show proof of vaccination and photo ID or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the show.
