Larry Sudbrook retires as St. Bonaventure’s winningest head coach

ALLEGHANY, N.Y. (WHEC) — Larry Sudbrook ends a 36-year coaching career with Bonnies, making him the winningest head coach in the history of St. Bonaventure Athletics.

He wracked up a total of 725 wins over his time in Alleghany.

The 3-time Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year led his 2004 squad to a conference title and eight other teams to the championship game.

Sudbrook was inducted into the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame back in 2015.
