Last call for kolsch: Popular Genesee beer to stop hitting shelves for the season

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Summer still may be chugging along, but the Genesee Brewery Thursday said the season’s "unofficial" beer is wrapping up its season.
We’re talking about, of course, the Ruby Red Kolsch.
Genny says it’s preparing to ship out one last batch of the beer, with it likely to stay on the shelves through at least mid-August. The season started back in March.
The brewery reports the kolsch is the number one selling flavored beer in New York.
