Lawsuit filed in case of 4-year-old left on daycare van
ROCHESTER. N.Y. (WHEC) – The family of a four-year-old girl left for hours on a daycare van has filed a lawsuit.
Makyia Artis was left in the van outside Living Waters Childcare for much of the day after she lay down in a back seat and didn’t get off. She wasn’t discovered until the end of the day.

The driver and monitor were later fired.
The suit claims M.J.A. suffered "emotional trauma, sleeplessness, extreme emotional stress, trauma, nervousness, anxiety…" and also accuses the daycare of failing to properly train its staff.
